Webinar: "BUILDING AORTIC MODELS FROM MEDICAL IMAGES"
|
|
|
ABSTRACT
This webinar will demonstrate how to build 3D geometric models of the normal and aneurysmatic aorta directly for your simulation pipeline. Dr. T. Christian Gasser will demonstrate a fast approach to generate accurate geometries directly from standard medical images in DICOM format. He will demonstrate how you can build patient-specific aortic geometries, as shown to the right, within less than 5 minutes.
Key Learning Objectives
- Image segmentation with active segmentation models
- Hexahedral-dominated mesh generation
- Model export in STL data format
- Model export directly to the Finite Element Packages LS-Dyna, Ansys, Abaqus and FEAP
- Automated Finite Element Simulation of the pressurized aorta
- Data analysis and visualization
